That elective surgery you need? Forget about it for now. That tumor you would really like removed sooner than later? Looks like later. The speed at which this administration is hurtling us towards bad health is paradoxically opposed to making people healthy.

And remember, the health care workforce is also vulnerable to infections, so when nurses, doctors, medical assistants, EMS workers, physical plant operations, and I.T. experts are out sick then things shut down.

As the trump administration dials back surveillance for and prevention of infectious diseases guess what the biggest threat to our health systems is right now? That's right, infectious diseases.
