The NJ Drone flap wasn't even the first. An even more disturbing situation than flying over normal airports, is the fact they are flying over various military installations, and they can't seem to do "anything" about it.

There are quite a few countermeasures for "common drones". These types of incursions are happening & people are getting caught.

However, the bigger drones, the ones who want to flash & make sure you see them, have not been followed back to or from. The length of time they fly, etc.

What's the reason for thinking they are Russian?

How a country already in a war would sit on a technology that so far, at least from all accounts, is untouchable? It's not like nukes, an option of last resort.

Russia is the state I have pretty much ruled out (but open minded to rethinking it)
