You missed one. Donald Trump attended a Sinn Fein fundraising event just weeks before the IRA carried out an attack on the UK mainland. Whether or not he gave money (he did), he paid an entrance fee and for a table at the front of the event, and was greeted warmly by Gerry Adams.

Went to see an experimental band at a tiny venue in London, but I was sat behind a really tall guy with lots of hair, who obscured my view of the band. It was only after I got home and checked the band's Twitter feed and my own photos, that I realised it was Thurston Moore.

I remember a slightly crazy older guy came up to me and my mate at Glastonbury and started talking to us. After he left, I said to mate "Why do I always attract the nutters?" and he replied "Don't you know who that was? That was Steve Hillage".
