I should have called the police but didn’t. Instead, I even let her use the stolen bicycle after she was caught because she said she needed it to visit her daughter and family. I received no apology, and she showed no remorse.

My stolen bicycle was recovered from a neighbor. The audacity of the thief is astounding. She said, “I saw an unused bicycle,” so she cut the lock and took it. She moved it into her apartment and then refused to even acknowledge that she had done anything wrong.

12 years have passed, yet Abdul Rashid’s family still waits for answers. His sister’s calls for justice remain unanswered, highlighting the silence surrounding enforced disappearances. It’s time to end this suffering and demand accountability.
