Never put this together before but there's a fun reference to Re-Animator where Jeffery Combs plays Dr. East as a play on his role as Dr. Herbert West. Makes for a good transition into that trilogy.

5 years is a long time and is obviously enough punishment for using taxpayer dollars for personal gain while endangering our community (I live an hour away from Adair). Guyver. Man, this is a classic I haven't seen in a while. Screaming Mad George and Mark Hamill with tons of practical effects that blew my mind as a kid. Quite a wild ride. I feel like this heavily influenced my love for body horror. It's been a while so I think it's time for another watch.
