The sky closest to the horizon is still quite dark in color, and it gets lighter the higher up it goes. There are scattered clouds through the sky. Some clouds are white and some are quite dark in color, as if they still have rain left in them to drop, but they just aren't big enough.

I'm often posting older art. I'm not that fast in creating things! But I don't try to give the impression that it's new art. I just feature it as it is, simply my art.

I didn't delete things, but I did modify what was left before it shut down. Thankful for that.

The jellyfish was my first attempt. The redwing blackbird is probably my favorite out of this set.

The background is a neutral color, like a light pink.

Four bookmarks finished up. Painting water is always a challenge for me. Painting the Old Faithful geyser is also a challenge, but I grew up in Yellowstone, so I'll forever want to keep trying.

Probably a little bit of both, but I'm mostly winging it.

Right in the foreground, across the whole painting is a piece of tall grass with berry pods hanging down. I don't know the variety of grass it is, but it's catching the light from the sun.

Thank you! In this set, I think the rocky waterfall is my favorite. I'll be sharing some more soon. These were all so much fun to make. I made them for gifts for all my classmates in a training class I was in recently.

I love painting bookmarks. I have plenty more to share. This is where I experiment with new ideas and challenge my boundaries.

Still Kicking

As far as I know, the little brown dog is still alive, somewhere around 20 years old! The other dog is also still alive, although not as old.
