It's very omg.. how did anyone think this was even ok, let alone funny.

In the last 15 years, there's been 2 books I've had to stop reading because the author did too good of a job. I read mostly at night when I wake up. This latest collection of short stories from one of my favourite authors has been infiltrating my dreams & I just can't.

Even the painting source image is garbage. The thing about Hopper paintings is his use of light. This has absolutely no soul. It looks like an animated comic panel.

It's been a problem for a while so we knew we had to do something. And we'd actually planned to do something soon. The heavy rain last night just put a pin in it.

It now has no ceiling or insulation. But it'll be good, eventually.

I found a few things that will make this a bit more challenging than I'd hoped (but kind of expected) but it's entirely in my wheelhouse so it will be fun in a non relaxing way.

We've known we needed to do this for a while now but vacation just got a whole lot less vacationy.

On the other hand, I've got some really cool ideas for the reno.

Last night we had about an inch of rain in about a 2 hour span. And much of that ended up in our trailer. So today I started a long put off reno. I have to properly seal the roof & replace the entire ceiling. And we'll be doing a complete refit.

But no one should ever feel that because making art is primal. The very few things we know about our distant ancestors are from art.
