23.02.2026 05:04 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Iโm going to trust you on that. But that scene was strangely erotic. And, for the time, it was probably pushing censorship rules. Especially William Shatner
23.02.2026 04:48 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I grew up being horribly allergic to wool and lots of other stuff. Now that Iโve outgrown that, it feels like a superpower to envelop myself in wool every chance I get.
I also love my antique HBC blankets. I figure my ancestors worked hard to trade for those things, Iโm going to cherish them.
Went to a neighbourhood party last night and we were outnumbered by the dogs that tagged along. And they also out charmed us!
23.02.2026 04:29 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I save up my holey merino wool clothes to repurpose the good parts into other stuff. I bet you could make an interesting patchwork scarf with the pieces ๐ค

23.02.2026 04:19 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Itโs pretty sad that the team is so into partying with that pond scum.
23.02.2026 04:18 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Youโll want a really long narrow scarf that wraps around and around. Then as you need to, you can pull open the mouth opening if it starts to get too much condensation
23.02.2026 04:15 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0We wrapped scarves around our foreheads and then around our faces so that just your eyes peep through. Itโs also a great way to make an instant snow blindness mask.
23.02.2026 04:10 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I guess. I spent my growing up years in Winnipeg and Northwestern Ontario and I donโt think I ever owned an umbrella. Someone needs to tell them about scarves. Or maybe pinch one of those balaclavas from an ICE dude.

23.02.2026 04:00 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0It happens when youโre a victim of partner violence also. And trying to report violence towards their kids results in accusations of retaliation or spitefulness. Itโs always about those with more power protecting each otherโs backs even when the harassment comes from their trad wives.

Why are these people carrying umbrellas?

22.02.2026 18:55 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Well whatโs actually troubling is that it wasnโt SEEN but definitely was unscrupulous behaviour by people with a degree of shame & understanding of laws to skirt around. USA has a long history of overthrowing governments for itโs own gain.
Voters support cruelty for the promise of โaffordability" ๐
MAGA is still freaking out over Bad Bunnyโs show not speaking English.
Imagine the Washington National Opera having to cater to that crowd. No wonder theyโre leaving the Kennedy Centre
It seems like a very recent thing to hear it so much in the mainstream. Itโs especially a huge problem when the โtruth-telling newsโ uses colloquialism in reporting.
Itโs not heard in Canada. We mostly say โthe states.โ Like โgoing to the statesโ โฆ when that used to be a thing ๐ซค

Just got the latest Walrus magazine in the mail. Iโm guessing that, if they had a crystal ball, the editors would not have published this right now when Canada is mourning the mass shooting of mostly children in Tumbler Ridge BC.
