Absolutely! It's astonishing there are so many smart people who don't really understand how our monetary system actually works.

We don't have debt. We have a sovereign currency, and our "debt" as you call it is paid in OUR currency (unlike most other countries that borrow our currency not their own.) PLEASE get up to date with MMT ( @stephaniekelton.bsky.social ), this "debt" nonsense is being used to confuse and control.
