Warm air holds up the moistness so it can't fall but it can flow like rivers or crash as waves, a blue to yellow to violet painterly flourish with the shape of invisible winds. Ngā hau? I think the te reo māori word is ngā hau. A police siren intruder. The birds continue to call green from the trees into our eyes.

i love spring/summer because i can come home and sit on the balcony deck at night and smoke a great joint, and it's still light, still warm, the birds are singing their go-to-tree songs, and i have a prescription.

yesterday evening at barre, as we were waiting for class to begin, i was on the floor trying to release my lower back and suddenly i was thinking about that episode of Friends when Ross massaged that old man with wooden spoons. i was giggling on the floor to myself like an idiot. it was great.

i long for the day we get a government of people who are interested in governing a country rather than doing whatever it takes to get money/hold money/withhold money.

i had a really nice lunch and finished a very good little book and started another book and i would love to sidle across the road to the library and hang there the rest of the day. there's two books in my bag and a couple others over there that really need my attention.
