A built in wood bookshelf that extends from floor to ceiling and has 3 sets of 6 shelves. 4 of the shelves have no books but a few tchotchkes. One is overstuffed with photo albums. A couple have junk on them. One is full of paint cans. There's a messy table in front of the shelves with a stack of books and other odds and ends. But most of the shelves have an orderly set of books on them as well as photos and keepsakes.

The bookshelf project continues. I've given away two boxes of books and thrown away two boxes of religious and self-help bullshit books. Still have the photo albums to go through- a daunting task. We have several empty shelves to play with now.

Why can't my body produce dopamine at the same rate it produces prostaglandins?

As someone who got 4 hours of sleep last night because my uterus turned violent at 1 am, I cosign this.

Finally fell back asleep at 8 am and managed 3 more hours. Woke up with a headache and my uterus immediately started misbehaving again. So I guess I'm awake now.

Have managed one hour sleep so far. Fairly certain my uterus is violating the Geneva convention at this point.

Wanna give a shout out to my uterus for holding back the red tide until after my doctor's appt today.

Maybe next time, don't wait until 1 am to unleash your pent up fury though. Not to seem ungrateful, but there's that whole sleep thing to consider.

There are several of those on the market though. I've had a hell of a time finding a decent one for 40 ct. I got a wooden one but the lines are too fuzzy and it's pretty useless.

I keep getting ads for this shit in a game I play and it's horrifying. It showed an example of "will YouTuber so-and-so get to 250k followers by X date." So someone will place a bet, then scramble to influence the outcome, but bot farms run by corporations trying to drive market behaviors will win.

Saw someone on fb post about needing a specific Owl Forest floss color to finish her WIP and I happen to have that color and no pattern that requires it so I was about to offer it to her but then I noticed she had a pfp of an AI eagle carrying an American flag and all my generosity went poof.

This is the damn horrifying truth. Even our therapist says sometimes you simply cannot hold a boundary with an autistic (especially PDA) child because doing so will cause more harm in the long run.

Apparently my doctors appt today is a paper gown type appt. I was unprepared. I did not select the correct underwear for this.

It's very weird. It's like the dark shows up at the right time but it's somehow darker than normal. Especially weird because of all the light pollution.

Not Pantone making white the color of the year. First time ever! Gee, I wonder what made them suddenly decide after 26 years that white really captured the moment? I can't imagine!

They said it "goes with everything!" For sure, Pantone! That must be it.
