Day one post op is going ok! Woke up at three. Here’s to a day filled with naps, snacks, and animal crossing. Pain has been manageable. Can’t tell if it’s the type of surgery (likely) or that this care team actually took my comfort seriously (possible). Just thankful

And when they are through with all of that, likely before, they will start coming for other undesirables until we’re all dead, in jail, or fleeing from one of those options. There is no world where ice ‘stops’, which is why abolition is the only way forward

Back home! A little loopy but pain free. Managing pain through this whole experience has always been a challenge, having it meaning managing this time around is HUGE.

Made it to the surgery center 15 min early. Driving around the bay with basically zero traffic is the best.
