I tried a Victorian (1880s) pattern for a quilt square earlier.

It did not turn out square…

Not sure what the point of Steam VN Fest is if there's no way to browse all the games featured. 😬

How is anyone supposed to find new VNs when the festival overrides the entire category page with no filtering available?

There are a bunch of smaller games that are flat-out hidden, including my own.

I also find it’s often important to set characters’ personalities aside when assessing dialogue—it’s more about the back and forth. Realistically, people don’t always stick to an archetype, although I find that can help inform the characters’ shared dynamic!

I typically read my dialogue aloud and pay attention to pacing and chemistry, and whether they contribute to what the reader should feel about the conversation.

This also helps me solidify characters’ voices and helps me catch any typos!
