A photograph of a billboard style poster on the side of a building located in Rochester High Street. A little raggedy and of Charles Dickens (local connection). On the wall above the poster is a ghost sign which is hard to decipher. In this image the poster is dissected by the sloping roof of an adjacent building. The building itself is old, perhaps Industrial Revolution and has beautiful, ornate windows. Colours are muted reflecting the poor light at the time of taking. Early afternoon in November.

Well … to the point

Sur un mur jaune pâle, l’ombre d’un arbre dénudé se projette, dessinant ses branches sur la façade. Au sol, le trottoir est jonché de feuilles mortes. En arrière-plan, le ciel bleu nuit d’un matin encadre les silhouettes des cheminées des maisons voisines. Sur le mur, deux fenêtres et un regard de compteur rappellent la présence discrète de l’habitat.
