Aside from my One Piece journey, I've been reading the Naruto manga for the first time. Some problematic relics aside, it's such a great adventure story!

I have been SUCH a defender of Xbox's trajectory since the start of this generation, and a big Game Pass fan, but this pricing really puts the nail in the coffin for me. This is the last Xbox I buy.

I'm really enjoying The Stormlight Archive in the middle of Oathbringer and I just feel like at some point when Eru Illuvatar designed me he was like "this guy's really gonna love series that don't hit their strides until 2500 pages in."

Nearing the end of Dressrossa in One Piece. I think this is my favorite arc after Marineford

I know Brandon Sanderson recommends starting the Cosmere with Mistborn, but I don't think that's the best choice for everyone.

I genuinely think I would have enjoyed all of his work more if I started with The Way of Kings.

If you're coming from a deep fantasy background, start with deep fantasy

In other media, I've been reading Shadow Games from The Black Company series and I absolutely love reading Croaker as a narrator. Incredibly unique writing style and underrated book series.

I've been back on the One Piece run, up to Dressrossa. I'm not exaggerating when I say Oda has created the most consistently high quality story I've ever experienced

Now that the structure of the narrative has been revealed to be nonlinear in the show, I am afraid that it will not be as effective a device on screen as it was in the game.

Overall I was not thrilled with this season. Not terrible, but a big step down from season 1.

I think I need to pen my own test for our podcast reviews.
