Also why I don't run Cyclonic Rift. It's a one sided reset that is more "cast and win now" than it is a flexible and useful tool.

Even in my deck that would actually use Farewell correctly, a Jeskai Superfriends list (link next comment for the curious), I don't run Farewell. I'm not a fan of hard resets, even if my list can actually take advantage of what it does because it doesn't hit Planeswalkers.
