I have served on my local city council since 2016. Last year, there were four seats up, AND NOBODY FILED AGAINST THE INCUMBENTS, despite vociferous complaining the year prior. As happy as I was to not have to campaign, that's not how democracy should work.

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.
