I lost a jalapeño the other day. But I’d bought zucchini for a friend and she eventually found my pepper. The cashier slipped it in the same produce bag. (Which ordinarily I’d approve of, but it wasn’t convenient for my sandwich parts to
be separated by 10 miles. No pepper for me.)

Kind of you to use up the old inventory and save the fresher stuff for others.
