Nov 1…Day 6. Textures. Sometimes a sho can be interesting, if you let it.

Oct 31 - Day 5….these were also textures I took today. Loved the storm clouds. Storms tend to be a thing for me…when we get good ones…which has been rare.

October 31 - Day 5 of texture. This is a couch cushion. I actually had a hard time getting it to work, but ok…

October 30 - Day 4 of textures. Can you guess these? Yeah…not hard, but I thought they were cool.

Not texture photos, but some nice shots of the woods out back. The leaves hid the damage caused by the ice storm this past April 1, but it’s starting to show once again. A lot of these trees will not make it through the winter. It makes me sad. 🙁

October 29 - Day 3 of textures. Leaves are the best this time of year. Crunchy under my feet; the smell of fall, my favorite season.

Oct 28 - Day 2 of my texture challenge. This is a blanket: a quilt we purchased a few years back from a local lady. Sadly, it’s beginning to unravel in some spots.

Yep. I won’t do business with magats. I did some research for my area and made a list of where I’ll go and not go. It’s been helpful, but my dollars go to local, liberal small businesses. It’s one thing I CAN do and I will.

Day 1 - Oct 27 of my new challenge…Textures. Honestly, I am getting carried away on this one. At first I wasn’t sure if I was going to fall into more patterns, but I think I found it. 😉

I took a bunch of shots and this, I think was best. It’s only Day 1, so it’s a start!! I’m sure I’ll add more later this afternoon. 😉

Good morning!! Today I start my new challenge: 10 Days Of Texture. I have a crazy busy Monday happening, so I thought what could I do first thing…. Frank. My dog Frank has some interesting texture and color. So here’s Frank’s texture. He’s soft and furry.

Well, my new challenge begins tomorrow. 10 days of Texture. Oct 27 - Nov 5, I’ll be posting textures of all sorts. Let’s see what my brain makes of this. :)

Driving the back roads today. Leaves are falling and soon all the trees will be naked for their winter sleep.

And they even shrunk the size of the tootsie pop. Easier to lick less, I guess…or easier to bite…less numbers to count…

New challenge will be starting soon! For now, I am having a little fun with fall. Enjoy!

This is Fuji…she’s a donskoy kitty. We named her Fujita after the Fujita Scale for tornadoes. She is a very crazy and sometimes destructive kitty…but damn she’s cute!

Someone should ask him to provide proof….

Fall is in full swing and on it’s way to winter. It was a cold, gray day today…but colorful.

Change is inevitable.

The thing I have learned taking this shot is take it. Take it now. Don’t wait. Don’t hesitate. I went back the next day and the colors were gone. The orange/red slime was brown. The whole ‘shroom environment had changed. Never wait if you can take it now. Things don’t remain the same.

Oct 17 - Day 10 of my Close Up challenge. I’ll start another soon. Meanwhile, these challenges have really been helpful at teaching me to look at things differently, to see things I might not have seen before and to appreciate what is right in front of me. Thanks for checking out my work! 🤗

Every morning; every day, I get to see my “tree of life” and all the critters it houses in my back yard. I am always humbled by Mother Nature.

I will be out Saturday, with others, to fight this insanity!

Just me and my buddy taking a ride out back. Beautiful color, sunny day, and Franklin (Franklin Delano Roosevelt) with me seeing what there is to see. How lucky we are. How grateful we are. I ride outside to rejuvenate to be able to fight another day for those without a voice.

Oct 16 - Day 9. Omg! Sometimes you can take a photo thinking it’s one thing and then…you blow it up and find out it’s something else. Yep. Ewwww….
