For Ingmar Bergman’s 60th birthday, his wife, Ingrid arranged for all 9 of his children to come to Fårö to celebrate. It was the first time every one of them had been together. They made it a tradition to reconvene on Fårö every year for their Father’s birthday. #IngmarBergMonth

Johann Sebastian Bach used to sign ‘S.D.G.’ at the end of his compositions which means Soli Deo Gloria-Glory to God Alone. Ingmar Bergman idolized Bach & sometimes did this with his work. He inscribed 'Torö, 7 August 1961, S.D.G.' on the WINTER LIGHT screenplay. #IngmarBergMonth
