my buddy started doing hackthebox so he has motivated me to try it out again. i've been wanting to hone my security skillset for a while now and this is as good an excuse as any :D

is dexter: resurrection actually good? i didn't go into this with much hope, but just finished the first episode and it seems very promising so far. i really liked the original, but new blood i wasn't super into and i never saw original sin.

I picked up a pair of Sennheiser HD 650s to try out since I've always heard how amazing these are. Not convinced they sound significantly better than my Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pros, and the build quality feels a bit cheaper, but wow are these super comfortable. I can only wear the 1990s so long.

Started playing with @godotengine.org and it is great so far. Super easy to work with. I've been wanting to make a new game for a while now, but I don't have much experience with modern engines outside of Source and that is a bit more complex than I wanted to deal with.

wow thanks for the responses everyone. i will be going through each one. project is still in early stages, but i appreciate the input and i will review and get back to those i like!

so still pretty early on, but probably mostly looking at a handful of characters and animations. i haven't thought about specific sizes and whatnot. but yeah mostly characters, i think we'll likely use an existing tileset for environments

forewarning -- some people might consider this project a bit on the "edgy/troll" side. it kinda is tbqh. happy to go into more details but if that immediately turns you off just want to be up front

ok death stranding 2 is actually pretty fun. it feels a lot like metal gear solid 5 (seems like its built on the same engine?) which i guess i was not really expecting. really looking forward to playing more.
