I'm Cheeo, a manga artist from Wales, UK.

I make a lot of one-shots but I'm also working on chapter 1 of a series that I'm slowly chipping away at.

Making very good progress with this page. I've never done it before but I've been drawing all the backgrounds in one go before sketching the characters rather than doing them one by one

This spread was supposed to be heavily detailed with the backgrounds, but i decided to omit those cuz I like the sense of loneliness and isolation that the white background emits the scene, reflecting the two characters’ situation.

I hope my art was able to convey that feeling…

Played #SILENTHILLf over the weekend. It's good, the story is the weakest part for me. The mc's back story didn't really justify her actions to me & also the combat is a bit annoying with the weapons banging into stuff constantly

Covid feels like a million years ago and also only yesterday. Crazy how it's already been five years

Cute, terrifying and wonderful all at the same time

I've made a lot of really short one-shots recently to practice new techniques I've been learning, but I'm confident enough to try something bigger again now.

It'll be a 50 page Welsh folk horror titled Calan Gaeaf. Going fully all out with all my skills with the aim of making every panel beautiful

I made these one-shots with a sort of ongoing story. They're independant from each other but feature the same characters:

- I'll See you When it Snows
- It'll be Worth it in the End (background cameo)
- To be Blissfully Unaware
- Run to Him
- Hikari

I've played up to the point where Cloud has to cross dress to infiltrate the Don's mansion, but I didn't feel truly gripped enough by the story to continue. How many hours in would you say it takes to get invested?

I think once my current slew of commissions is done, I'm gonna open more with the sole intention of raising the funds for a legal name change.

Nearly completely done with this 4 page comic. I just finished drawing the background. I was too excited to wait for the finished thing to make the timelapse. I made the trees with photos I took. Can't wait 'till it's done
