Sometimes I really worry about drawing city stuff again and then I look back at old art and remind myself getting over the intimidation is like, half the battle.

Working on this balcony lineart with this couple smoking and it wasn't feeling life-like enough. So I put little things like crocs on the floor and cigarette butts in a plant pot and dead plants

I've had to make mine denser and denser over time. In CSP I think I started the density at 45%, then 70, 80 and now it's at 95%, it seems to have worked but it's basically at 100 now and I've started considering just using flat greys and dropping screenones altogether 😑

Finally done with lineart for this panel. While other panels also has plenty of details, it's not going to be anything of this scale. Sea is blank because I'm leaving it for coloring stage.

I make a lot of one-shots but I'm also working on chapter 1 of a series that I'm slowly chipping away at.

Making very good progress with this page. I've never done it before but I've been drawing all the backgrounds in one go before sketching the characters rather than doing them one by one

This spread was supposed to be heavily detailed with the backgrounds, but i decided to omit those cuz I like the sense of loneliness and isolation that the white background emits the scene, reflecting the two characters’ situation.

I hope my art was able to convey that feeling…
