I sold my drum set. I'm a little sad to see it go, but I never found the time to play them.

My history teacher was complaining about people using AI to write reports. I told him that was why I want to teach Hema. You can't chatGPT your way out of a sword fight.

Button studied sword and buckler too hard. Fell asleep.

I am going to make a lasagna for dinner tonight.

It went really well! Everyone was nice and trying their best, I didn't stumble over my words too much, and once we went back to larp scenarios people were really working to put what I showed them into practice.

I won this hoodie at a pole dancing contest last summer. They finally delivered it.

The class went really well and it was such a rewarding feeling to see people trying to use what I taught them.

I'd like to think at least a few of them became better fencers tonight.

I fought and won in a sword and buckler tournament, so I think that qualifies.

Okay, so the first real sign of getting older just happened. The weather is causing my thumb to hurt in a way it only ever did after a hand snipe at tournaments.

I guess I know what joints I'll start complaining about in five years.

I don't do any role playing with them, they're just the closest thing I have to regular sword practice until I can open my own club for it.

I'm doing pretty good. Tonight is a friend's birthday party and tomorrow I might be fighting in a tournament hosted by a local larp group.

The coolest thing I saw in Venice was a sword with a bronze woman for the hilt. I might try getting one made with a statue of my wife.

I didn't intend for this to be the case, but I am reading the Vampire the Masquerade core rulebook and realizing my vtuber model really fits in clan Gangrel.

That's why I prefer historical fencing drama. Even at the worst times they only stab you in the front.
