Capacity has been hollowed out for years. EP waiting lists are months long, thresholds keep rising & schools are absorbing what systems no longer hold.

This isn’t a boogeyman rumour in communities – it’s structural strain, known up & down the land.

I guess part of my point is, I get frustrated when Tomos cops so much criticism, as if he’s not following coaching tactics.

Oh I appreciate that, but his box kicking is not always spot on, & our high ball reception can be generously described as very inconsistent.

Given we seem committed to this type of kicking attack, it seems somewhat pointless sticking with Tomos at 9. It’s not his most consistent skill & we seem to be wasting pretty much everything else his skill set can offer.

I think there was a bit more fight to stay on their feet today from Wales, but it wasn’t to offload, it was just to gain a couple of yards more. There were maybe two occasions where a runner offered themselves to a tackled ball carrier but it’s just not in the Welsh psyche to offload at present.

A few instances of inaccuracy but that shouldn’t take away from some real quality in much of the game.

It doesn’t paint a great picture to kids watching either. You could commit two yellow card offences, but it’s ok as your side can bring on a replacement after 20 mins. 🤷‍♂️
