It’s in the WRU’s own interest to have the ‘weakest’ investor take over Cardiff. The last thing they’d want is an ambitious & competent, driven ownership - one that could actually challenge WRU ‘plans’…

Of course if they actually wanted the best deal for Cardiff & not the best deal for the WRU, then a major investor in Welsh rugby at Cardiff would be a major headache for the WRU. Four teams, is the last thing they want. Major investor? Ych a fi.

If the WRU try to work this through because it’s a ‘neat’ solution, it’ll only be for their personal advantage - not for the good of Welsh rugby.
