Okay so! Good news, my house is still there.

Bad news, it's not deemed habitable yet, so they kicked us out. We're now staying with the red cross shelter at my job.
They're super nice and are accommodating us the best they can. Currently messaging you from a cot I set up.

Oh yes we have some, used them when we were outside. Though not sure if we should use them inside too?

The fire is in the New York Times 🙀

I am back home with family, smoke is still around, but we have no where else to go. Does anyone know any precautions I could take?

Update, still unknown about the state of the houses.

However the fire is down to just "smoldering bales" of cotton. Smoke is too dense to allow anyone back.

My street is one of those listed and traffic is barred from entering.

I hope the home is still there x.x

Dang it...

There's a fire going on right now. My area is being evacuated.
So far 15 houses are caught on fire. My city has no working fire hydrants and we're relying on other cities for help.
Pictures are taken a few minutes apart before I started packing.
