xbox one and series controllers are like the only ones that still have good d-pads and i do have both, the only problem for me is that both my xbox controllers have some kind of defect lmao (xbone's down input on the d-pad doesn't register and my xbox series controller's stick drifts like crazy)

it's kinda fucked up how most controller manufacturers just treat the d-pad as an afterthought considering how dogshit most 2D games feel to play with a control stick

lrt i wonder if the switch 2 pro controller's d-pad is as dogshit as the first one's...either way i'm not spending 90 fucking dollars to find out lmaooo
