It’s day 64 of the ICE occupation of MSP.

Today ICE officers once again arrested observers at gunpoint, caused lockdowns of neighborhood schools, and harassed people on the street simply for their skin color.

Nothing has changed, despite the rhetoric from “leaders.”

The videos of the abduction today in heavy traffic in Columbia Heights is truly one of the most dystopian things I’ve seen since Alex’s murder.
Ice surrounded a vehicle in heavy traffic boxing it in and then pulled everyone out of the car while other people were honking and then they just took off.

After executing Alex Pretti on Saturday, ICE has shifted to primarily targeting bus stops and elementary schools in my community this week. I cannot overstate how much of the ICE activity in my community is just targeting places where little kids are.

Having reviewed the Complaint, Motion, Memorandum of Law, and other evidence submitted in support of the Motion, and in accordance with Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 65, IT IS ORDERED THAT Plaintiffs' Motion for a Temporary Restraining Order [ECF No. 2] is GRANTED as follows: 1. Defendants, together with their employees, agents, and anyone acting in concert with them, are ENJOINED from destroying or altering evidence related to the fatal shooting involving federal officers that took place in or around 26th Street and Nicollet Avenue in Minneapolis on January 24, 2026, including but not limited to evidence that Defendants and those working on their behalf removed from the scene and/or evidence that Defendants have taken into their exclusive custody.

My statement on the proposed Senate deal

I refuse to support a funding bill that fails to address the Republican health care crisis.

And make health insurance affordable.

The American people clearly understand the stakes and the urgency. We must too.

I'm voting no.

So to cap their horrible week, Senate Republicans refused a deal to reopen the government in exchange for just helping people with health insurance and now the president wants the Supreme Court to say he doesn’t have to obey the law and feed the hungry.

Amazing.
