As a percentage of earnings that’s simply not true. Hoarding wealth you do not need and cannot spend is indeed greedy and aberrant. If you’re offshoring wealth and actively avoiding tax then yes, that’s antisocial. The rich don’t want to keep ‘some’ they want to contribute as little as possible.
