Agreed. As much as I would love to have a woman president (and many more after the first), I think we’ll need a man to run to guarantee a win. Too many men (and women, unfortunately) are outright or subconsciously sexist.

If anyone needs to save money on eggs, flax seed can be used to make a cheap egg substitute for baking!

I haven’t personally tried it yet but it’s on the horizon.

My husband and I both requested absentee ballots. Mine came promptly, his never came. I had to pressure him to get off his ass and go to the courthouse to get his vote in. Makes me wonder how many cared enough to request absentee ballots but not enough to do something if they didn’t get delivered?

As a recent Mormon turned atheist, I know that I didn’t care about the environment b/c I was taught Christ would come again and the earth made new. Shameful, but that was my indoctrination. I’m not sure how we can push back on religious beliefs when they aren’t based on reality and are so ingrained.

Deleted it last night after I tried an experiment in the search bar. I could search the phrase “Joe Biden Lies” and an option to autofill the text became available and it had some videos pop up. A search for “Donald Trump Lies” said that nothing came up and it didn’t have the option to autofill. 🤨

As an excultist, it left me contemplating the way power/influence is welded and abused inside and outside faith. Giving control to an outside entity (like stepping inside the house or allowing a religion/ideology to dictate one’s choices) leaves you trapped. Deconstruct and question everything.
