One thing that annoys me about this is having self-professed progressives go on about "the girls are fighting"--it's two grown-ass white men having a childish spat and throwing public tantrums that will have very real collateral casualties, and the misogyny in calling them girls always escapes them.

I do miss seeing them.

It’s nice how baseball season basically serves as a differentiator between the good months and the bad months.

Baseball is great because it's fun and lyrical and sad and beautiful and all sorts of other things, and then just when you're about to get a little too earnest about it, you remember there's a guy in it who we all call the Big Dumper.
