Quick read... still enjoying the series.

Anyways. I read this book in under two days after not having read a novel in months which counts as an endorsement.

Warning: First book of a series and ends at a satisfying stopping point instead of an ending... but close enough, right?

Lack of courage to truly commit to a bit.

If you can't solve a problem... but you can make the problem worse without causing harm or exposing yourself to meaningful consequence... doing so might be a good strategy... as this might, indirectly, get the problem solved by making it more of a priority to the people who can solve it.

Also... 50 years back is 1976... that's not even far enough back to have meaningful changes in language... you're eliminating Interview with the Vampire and Dune and Lord of the Rings... like... it's not even a struggle!

My theory is that Viv was a developer on the project when the company got shuttered and realized that she still had admin credentials and a way to keep getting herself, and former team, paid... but I am an idealist sometimes.

I picked up a strange cartridge at Value Village one time and, after looking at the pins, realized it was probably an imported Genesis (mega drive) game so I unscrewed the top of my Genesis and, yeah, it was a copy of non-translated ZeroWing... back in 1999... before the memes... fun game actually.

Finished watching Wonder Man today. I am pretty confident I enjoyed it. My big take is that this is what can happen when a studio takes a big chance by letting people who are passionate about the craft of acting and filmmaking make a show about the craft of acting and filmmaking and just go ham.

More of this, right? We all like this and will take as much of it as we can in any form and for any reason, right?
