Newsom's been in bed with the utilities for so long. PG&E is one of his top campaign donors. There's no way he would actually denounce utilities and put blame on them. We need people in office who will STATE THE OBVIOUS and hold the people at fault ACCOUNTABLE for their actions, inaction, and CRIMES

Except as far as I know he doesn't hate the homeless and trans people; and isn't in the pocket of PG&E.

Refineries and poorly managed power #Grids cause devastation, both environmentally and/or economically. #Microgrids that utilize #Renewables don't seem to have these issues, and also tend to produce a lot more energy than needed! Food for thought.

So odd how you continually dog #Trump for his support of #Coal, but you won't denounce the #Utilities in #California even though they are also against #SolarEnergy. Trump's fight against #Solar is one thing, but it is hypocritical of you to call him out when you fail to TRULY support solar!

Hours before the Eaton fire, distribution lines failed and fire started in Altadena Transmission lines have been linked to the start of the Eaton fire in January. But another kind of line — distribution lines that power homes — were also wreaking havoc before that fire sparked.

In layman's terms, it's Edison's fault.

Utility Tax was such a shitty bill that legislators had to author AB 1999 just to try and combat it. Like many other times in the California Legislature, the utilities got their way.

As anyone can see from this graph, traditional forms of energy like gas and coal have been on a rocky road, but solar #Energy has completely taken off.
