How a Sacramento woman’s grandad made it possible for Trump to threaten Greenland A Sacramento woman’s grandfather made a WWII Greenland deal that is sparking geopolitical debates today.

A mutual friend clued me into Sacramento resident Bettina Redway's connection to the geopolitical maelstrom surrounding Greenland, and it was too fascinating to keep to myself. www.sacbee.com/news/article...

McClatchy wants you to invest in a Sacramento Bee subscription, but the company doesn’t want to invest in its reporters.

Under management’s latest offer, seven local journalists would still make salaries low enough to qualify them for low-income housing.

Federal defendants in Sacramento walked free. The reason: No paid lawyers The U.S. government failed to pay defense lawyers for months, leading Sacramento federal judges to dismiss or delay cases.

My colleague Sharon Bernstein breaks an incredible story: The federal government shutdown sabotaged the work of law enforcement and prosecutors in at least eight cases in Sacramento. Wow! How could this happen?

Let’s talk about something not many people are chatting about and what’s actually happening right now.

You might wonder why Imran Ahmed and the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) suddenly became targets of the U.S. government. The honest answer is that their research hit where it hurt.

WATCH: The 60 Minutes CECOT Segment I was sent the CECOT segment anonymously in a group chat.

Bari Weiss lied in her memo. She said segment didn't report administration's legal justification (it does in the very first sentence) and didn't say how many detainees had been charged with crimes as opposed to just those who were convicted (it does). www.muellershewrote.com/p/watch-the-...

So are the killers who shot up a 2-year-old’s birthday party in Stockton, CA, a couple days after Thanksgiving. The FBI is definitely NOT performing up to the standard we expect.

It’s odd that the writer never mentions that Bezos sacrificed the paper’s credibility to score points. That’s why circulation plummeted, not because of the paper’s name, as stated here.

After shutting down, the Dems have to hold out for more than they first initiated. Only funding health care doesn’t seem like much of a win after the current regime’s gross and disgusting abuse of power in Chicago. They zip-tied children!

After Declining to Give Trump a Sword for King Charles, a Museum Leader Is Out

Very Trump-era story.
1. The sword has no meaning for Charles, but matters for the Eisenhower Museum.
2. Illegal for the museum to give away US property!
3. Trump makes no distinction between personal/public property.
4. The person who did the right thing was fired.

This is certainly not the norm, but I think many Americans end up in arrangements like this, effectively co-parenting their children’s more vulnerable friends. In some cases, the friends move in, and no parent ever comes looking for them. If they can keep the tax deduction, you can have their child.
