If youβd like more information on the topic, or need guidance on how you can support someone with suicidal thoughts, Samaritans have a helpful site focused on this specific focal point.

Today is World Suicide Prevention Day, with a focus on changing the narrative around suicide.
Suicide isnβt inevitable. Thoughts can be interrupted. Lives can be saved.
If you think someone is suicidal, take action, interrupt their thoughts and tell them you care.

And Yeremy Pino arrives at Biggin Hill a little later in the day, too.

And now here he is. An FA Cup winner with Palace. Achieving the greatest moment in our history.
On the verge of making a move to the club he supported as a child, the one whose rejection hurt him so.
Heβs proof that perseverance pays off. That love wins.
Thank you Ebs. β€οΈπ
Because heβs seen difficult times. Multiple rejections. Serious injuries. Disappointing moments.
And yet heβs smiled on and dedicated himself to his craft. Youβd forgive him for being bitter. But never once did he let that show.
Meanwhile, off the pitch, he delivered food to the elderly in his neighbourhood β people who really needed support on a human level were touched by his brilliance and willingness to do the right thing.
Eze is deeply humble. The kind of humble that you envy.
But what we learnt of Ebere wasnβt just that he was a great player, but a great human. Someone who loved football for the joy it brought him and others.
His first season was in lockdown. We watched from afar, as he gave us hope and excitement for a better future.
Ebere Eze was the first of a new kind of Palace signings. Young, talented and hungry, he brought guile, exuberance and confidence into a Palace team so reliant on Wilfried Zaha for sparks of magic.
Brilliant on the ball, graceful off it with a wicked shot β he gave us an edge.
You can only sell when a club is actively trying to buy. Canβt help the timing unless we were willing to go way below his value.
16.08.2025 18:49 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The thought of Ebs going fills us with sadness. Heβs been an incredible ambassador for Palace, a magical player to watch and a consummate professional who did all he could for us.
The scorer of our winning goal in the FA Cup.
What an honour to have seen him in red and blue.
Our mission now, as a fanbase, is to get behind our team with such strong support that they go all the way to the final, so we can shove our absolute hatred of UEFA and their poorly drafted rules right down Ceferin and his cronies throats.
11.08.2025 10:57 β π 49 π 5 π¬ 2 π 1Wishing Steve Parish and everyone attending CAS on behalf of Palace good luck in their mission to convince the court of the wrongdoing of UEFA at todayβs hearing.
We beat City against the odds to win the FA Cup so we can beat the odds to win this case too.
As an antidote to some of the madness yesterday, Palace are the 12th best team in the World per Optaβs rankings.
06.08.2025 07:49 β π 22 π 4 π¬ 5 π 0The draw for the competition we shouldnβt be in has been made, and if Palace lose their CAS appeal theyβll play against Fredrikstad of Norway or Denmark's FC Midtjylland.
At least both those matches would have reasonable travel options.
As always, fuck @UEFAcom for doing this.
Winning the FA Cup really was a dream come true. A moment we could only imagine, becoming reality before our very eyes.
Thatβs what should always be remembered, whatever comes next. Because that moment changed our lives.
Matt Turner was a good man for Palace. Supportive of teammates, always positive about his role at the club and ready and willing when needed. He was only on loan but he got Palace.
He deserves better than to be treated as a commodity. Good luck back at New England Revolution, Matt β€οΈπ
This. But also, boys not seeing difference between this success and the menβs team success is key to even more progress. Happy to say in my house, England is England. Doesnβt matter which team brings it home.
27.07.2025 19:54 β π 13 π 4 π¬ 1 π 0The beauty in this is that young girls can have brilliant heroes like Chloe Kelly, Hannah Hampton, Michelle Agyemang and more to look up to and follow.
Representation matters and this is just another great step for the womenβs game.
YEEEEEEEEEESSSS ENGLAND!
Fucking get in! A Palace-like defensive performance from England to take it to penalties.
So proud! π¦π¦π¦
