This was a great challenge in Portland! Glad it's still a thing.

Kinda glad I never followed through with uploading some old recordings of my grandfather calling square dances in Seattle's Queen Anne neighborhood in the 60s/70s using equipment he assembled in the basement because he liked building community... but it would still be fun to put out there.

Attended an awesome cyber security meetup at our makerspace, which now has most weeks of the month booked with some kind of tech focus group. Love this community.

@lfnw.org's use of @sessionize.com made it super easy from a speaker organization perspective; if there are ways to leverage it for sponsor management too that would be a total experience.

There are free family craft hours most Saturday afternoons at the Makerspace located in the mall, and the tech college students usually hang out there working on projects

The mall also offers an interesting third place with things like a library or high school!
