an experimental piece we did to try out a different artstyle, went for a more inkblot/leaky pen look for the lines. pretty happy with it tbh.

a rough sketch of a strange bird-like creature in a teal void. the creature's body is mid-motion, seemingly turning to face something. it has a nub-like tail, and long, strange, bony legs. ending in a 4-toed hand-like feet, the joins along the legs being knobby or otherwise lumpy in some way, especially the hip area where the leg connects. its' arms are far shorter than the legs and notably have only 3 joints and a far more stubby hand, the limbs are far less knobby yet still are still thin and bone-like akin to the legs. one arm is held at a right angle, whereas the other is left limp. its' neck is long, like that of a swan, with a strange head at the top. it has only one eye in the center of the skull, but has 2 mandibles on the side of its' face reaching towards the mouth, and a beak-like structure for said mouth.

ty! texture work is just fun with this artstyle imo, tedious at times, and the bane of our wrist; but fun regardless. need to do more trees with this style though cuz charcoal brushes turn out to work very well for them.

'nother mask design we did, for more world-building stuff. turns out attempting to do something akin to gemstones in pixel art is far more difficult than with more traditional mediums. pretty happy with it regardless.

a pixel art image of a bird-like mask. the head of the mask is a stark white, adorned with swirling purple strands across it, these strands can be seen covering the six eyes of the mask akin to stitching, pitch-black orbs with various sigils in them run down the middle of the mask, surrounded by a darker purple bordering. a massive version of these sigil orbs sits at the top of the head. other sigil orbs are scattered about the mask, 4 near the sides and 4 on-top of the base where long strands of fabric protrude from the mask, each strand of fabric terminating in a small arrow-shaped symbol and 3 smaller tassels. 4 small, tusk-like protrusions sit across the mask, 2 closest to the beak of said mask, and the other 2 being closer to the back of it. blue-ish gray fabric is attached to the mask like a shawl, potentially to hide the appearance of the wearer, with an opening near the mask to allow the face through.

a concept art piece we did of a mask for world-building stuff we've been slacking on. might alter the colors later on but pretty happy with it for now.

lil' creature concept we did whilst attempting to emulate amateur field study work. pretty happy with how it came out.
