When The Music Follows
An Interactive Audio Driven Psychological Horror Demonstration
A few days ago, I made my experiment prototype public. In this experiment, I created several audio features that play an important role in transforming the music in real-time, and I am curious about the effect it has on people.

Just finished playing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Definitely a contender on one of the best games Iโve ever played.
Everything in this game was so captivating... was hooked until the bitter end! Also Esquie must be fun to cosplay, def. one of my fav. too ๐

First time playing around with SpinTracer for textured whooshes
First time using Tonstum Spintracer in combination with Zynaptic PitchShift Pro and some other plugins I got during Black Friday to make some whooshes for #sfxswap.
Something tells me I'm going to have a lot of fun experimenting with different settings and sources in future! ๐

I use the Beyerdynamic DT990 PRO for both making audio, mixing and playing games, have to say I love them for many years now and don't feel the need for change. Sony MDR 7506 for recording (outside).
But had my eyes on Audio OLLO S5X to upgrade to use for game audio/mix, people ever heard of it?

Made some forest fauna ambiance using synthesis only.
-8,9 dBTP was my original video that I've also added to Youtube www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMwA...
-3,4 dBTP seems to be measured when I analyse it from video conversion from Bluesky when uploading video instead of youtube.
Perhaps they normalise to around -3,5 dBTP if it's too soft?

Does someone know more about loudness normalisation settings on videos uploaded on #Bluesky? It seems that my soft ambience video that was around -27 LUFS integrated was normalised to around -21 LUFS integrated.

Thanks! Will try next time. I wanted to challenge myself to do as much as possible using synthesis, limited time and fauna only, to explore possibilities within this frame. I feel like what you point out also feels missing especially for the more forest base atmosphere without too much going on!

Day 23 - (Surrealistic) Wildlife #noisevember24
Used wavetable synthesis with sinus for the birds, granular synthesis with some metal sources for the loop stuff and basic sample retrigger with modulation for the frogs. Frogs still need some work, but was fun!

Epic! So how does it work with converted DAW to usable audio? Does it export every midi note you used within octave range as separate audio note to be used inside the system or something like that? Since it needs to be compatible with the different modals as well?

Tweaks on the glow sounds of day 7
Using #noisevember24 mainly to create templates and experiment. Was trying out some new plugins to create shimmer/glow sounds. I've recorded 4 different chimes and then used the sources with granular synthesis in #PhasePlant with the new FX. Used day 7 as a template.
