MITSUMIIII

I heard Oshii was inspired by a french film maker for this movie (whose name escapes me) so i will be watching his movies if I want something like this again (which I definitely do) but after I rewatch this again for a 1sitting watch (lol) so I can experience it in its entirety

The environment around them is drawn with immaculate detail in the backgrounds and compositions that left me in awe at the level of artistry at display in every single frame.

With only like 30 lines of dialogue, I really appreciate how it conveys its information mostly through the environment and how the characters comment and act on the things around them that further inform you on the distrust the angel has on the soldier as they cannot seem to agree on much

The film intro of a silent tranquil hands holding onto something as it passes off to another hand that ends the silence in a loud Crack that hard cuts to the giant embryo had me glued to the screen til I inevitably had to turn it off as irl concerns brought my attention elsewhere

What I appreciated more about Angel's Egg this time was just by how it sounded, which eluded me last time (the negative effects of me watching movies on Discord). And not even just the music that I like more this time around, just the all-around sound direction I found enthralling
