Okay, so disk #forensics and data recovery is actually not that difficult.
You just need #dd and the #testdisk or #scalpel package.
But working with a bunch of NAS and limited computing power is daunting…

While I was migrating my internal servers, I found an issue with the ext4 inodes. So I did a full disk check and recovery using e2fsck and fsck.ext4.

I lost half of my generations worth of #corn collections…

It’s an overexaggeration to say that science is panicking because the old ΛCDM timeline might be challenged.

In reality, it just means we just found a hole that can be filled with more exciting imaginations, and the younger generation can create a new foundation for science.

To put this into perspective, humanity accepted the Geocentric model for more than 1,500 years, and they invented things like the Sundial (mathshistory.st-andrews.ac.uk/HistTopics/S...). If this model were wrong, it meant the concept of time was wrong.

I saw a lot of YT videos saying “Science found out that we’re inside another universe” or other misleading stuff. However, the only thing #MoM-z14 showed was that our past assumptions didn’t fit all cases. Literally an “edge case.”

Because dommy mommy was too thicc to fit our model.
