And thatβs just one of the reasons Freedom of Movement was a good idea.

As first step to #RejoinEU advocating for restoring 4 Freedoms of Movement after Brexit in UK/EU/EEA/Switzerland (people, goods, services, capital), required for Single Market/EU. #SaveFOM. Think Tank. Campaign. #FBPE. http://www.savefom.org
And thatβs just one of the reasons Freedom of Movement was a good idea.

10.02.2026 09:04 β π 6 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0With a change in advisors, will Starmer also change his mind about Freedom of Movement and drop his red lines?

Is he the reason for Starmerβs red lines on mutual Freedom of Movement?

You are right of course. Sometimes you need to start off in a direction and see how far you can actually go. Thatβs better than not starting at all.
02.02.2026 20:22 β π 0 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0There is plenty of support for restoring mutual Freedom of Movement and getting goods and services moving again.
And are very few Brexiters who would oppose that.

02.02.2026 20:22 β π 0 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0Thatβs what we think should have happened but the reality on the ground has been different when people have tried to register.
02.02.2026 19:38 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Hopefully we can help UK get back into the single market quickly and the whole EU later.

@savefom.bsky.social
Like it?
Seems an elegant solution though?
A **Super-EEA** comprised of current EEA+UK?
Then UK doesnβt need to join EFTA or upset or change anything there.
I think this would make a nice half-way staging post to the ultimate place we need to be which is back inside the EU (fully).
What do you think?
Good to hear.

We agree. The first step perhaps is helping people and politicians realise and see the way that Brexit has done harm to individuals, and that the various separation agreements probably were not right.

On 31 Jan 2020 UK left the EU .
Travel is now harder, visa processes hamper mobility, and border checks delay parcels, food & medicines.
Please support change by joining European Movement UK.

The 90-in-180-day problem continues to cause problems for travellers after Brexit.
Itβs time to restore mutual Freedom of Movement
Perhaps yes. Or restore mutual Freedom of Movement.
30.01.2026 22:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Regrettably thereβs no sign yet of recognising or grandfathering the residency rights that were lost by many Brits when Brexit happened.

30.01.2026 22:26 β π 3 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Why mutual Freedom of Movement is neededβ¦.
30.01.2026 22:26 β π 3 π 3 π¬ 0 π 0Part year residents donβt overstay.
They plan their lives badly β according to rules designed for tourists.
The 90-in-180-day rule is like being allowed to water your own garden, but only 3 drops a day, shared across all your gardens β and if you go over, they call it stealing.
30.01.2026 22:09 β π 0 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Itβs like owning two toy boxes, but you can only play with one toy at a time for 90 minutes, and the other box stays locked β while everyone else can play freely in both.
30.01.2026 22:09 β π 0 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Our campaign asks for
1. Protection under withdrawal agreement (or similar) for everyone living lawfully in Spain part-year before Brexit.
2. UK passport holders to be admitted visa free for up to six months every time they visit Spain irrespective of time in other countries.
Pleased to see more and more UK MPs recognising the 90-in-180-day problem.
Our campaign is really starting to have results.
