There is plenty of support for restoring mutual Freedom of Movement and getting goods and services moving again.

That’s what we think should have happened but the reality on the ground has been different when people have tried to register.

Hopefully we can help UK get back into the single market quickly and the whole EU later.

We agree. The first step perhaps is helping people and politicians realise and see the way that Brexit has done harm to individuals, and that the various separation agreements probably were not right.

Regrettably there’s no sign yet of recognising or grandfathering the residency rights that were lost by many Brits when Brexit happened.

Why mutual Freedom of Movement is needed….

Part year residents don’t overstay.
They plan their lives badly — according to rules designed for tourists.

The 90-in-180-day rule is like being allowed to water your own garden, but only 3 drops a day, shared across all your gardens — and if you go over, they call it stealing.

It’s like owning two toy boxes, but you can only play with one toy at a time for 90 minutes, and the other box stays locked — while everyone else can play freely in both.

Our campaign asks for

1. Protection under withdrawal agreement (or similar) for everyone living lawfully in Spain part-year before Brexit.

2. UK passport holders to be admitted visa free for up to six months every time they visit Spain irrespective of time in other countries.

Pleased to see more and more UK MPs recognising the 90-in-180-day problem.
