I'm trying to do both right now. I wrote down a small scope for a project, started making some assets for this game, and now I am trying to import these assets into Godot, and make the scope work.

I didnโ€™t have much time today, but I still refined my torch because I wasnโ€™t very happy with the old one.

What do you think about the new version? Iโ€™m not sure if it really fits the setting yet, but itโ€™s fine for now!

I refined my model from yesterday, made it look a bit better, and started making my first scene!
Tomorrow I plan on making some of the interior, but I LOVE the current state of it!

Iโ€™m learning 3D modeling for my own game projects, so I started a little challenge! model one small asset in Blender every day that I could actually use in a game.

I was just playing around, using the default shapes, and putting them on a fun little display. Also tried out using HDRIs a proper lighting! Following a course from @gamedevtv.bsky.social !

For me, it's purly the art style. If I like what I see, and I think the artist can do what I want, they get the commission. Numbers don't mean anything to me.

I did it. With my new pc, I also switched to a dual boot system. Windows just for gaming, and linux for my day to day use!
