today is my birthday and this has been the best birthday weekend i could have asked for

i can't be mad about that for my first regional tbh. i was complimented on my play by my opps a lot and even tho i didn't make it this time, playing a regional has given me 100% confidence that i can day two another regional eventually hehehehe

i went 2-3 at milwaukee and had the time of my life. i am so happy i get to play pokémon and be surrounded by other people who love it like i do during my birthday weekend 😭

i will say that when i contacted #playpokemon about disability accommodations they either ignored me or jerked me around in turns for two weeks. i'm really not remotely impressed even though i believe it'll be sorted out today. actually the opposite of impressed

taking your pulse ox sucks so bad because either it's low and therefore hospital time or it's normal and then you feel like a big dramatic baby making a huge deal out of nothing. the solution of course is to avoid taking it

i also beat a friend whose knowledge and play i really admire and respect (and who i haven't technically beaten before now) in the finals, so that was also pretty cool

i can't overstate how tiny it was, but i DID top cut and win my first little friendly tournament last night and i'm still floating on a lil cloud about it. i feel like my play has improved pretty significantly all of a sudden and it feels really nice! #pokemonvgc
