Here’s a thought experiment: imagine if any of these things had happened in Melbourne, Sydney or Canberra? What would be the general reaction? It wouldn’t be embarrassed silence, that’s for sure.

It's spectacular how adept Australian governments are at finding the wrong solution to a given problem.

* Climate crisis? Ban canoeing!
* Kids bullied on the internet? Kick them off social media!
* Cyclists run over by SUVs? Helmet laws!
* Refugees need help? Pack them off to an island gulag!

His dad brought the team for him to race in. He seriously looks like he's got no interest in being in F1 and he's being forced to be there. Alonso's contract for racing expires at the end of 2025, so it all lines up pretty well. I like Yuki, I hope it does work out for him
