Update: Her Jaw is gone. Whatever it is ate away her jaw on that side.

The vet was unable to get a sample of the mass in her jaw and is referring us out to another location.

Her xrays are being sent to a radiologist.

We've got her back at the vet (a different one in our new area) and they want to do all kinds of tests and scans to try and identify what this is and if it can be treated.

We are lucky enough to have the absolute privilege of being able to front this unexpected cost between different credit cards.

We had already taken her to a local vet about 2 months prior for a swollen leg only to be told that it was most likely arthritis and to just monitor her pain levels.

Now this mass has grown to the point she can't fully close her mouth and I'm worried it's going to take over her eye.

This is not normally something I would ever do but...I am genuinely at a loss.

About a month ago, our oldest cat had a mass appear on her face.
