I am trying to wean myself off my dependency on a daily social media fix. So much going on it was frying my brain. In a world of Trump, Netanyahu & Reform, I feel totally useless to stop the frightening growth of far right leaders.
Thankfully I have riding my bike to keep me sain. 🤪

To be fair he said he'd not knee jerk until the report from the judicial enquiry had reported and that he'd take on board its recommendations. It now has and it recommends a public enquiry so he's sticking to his work and calling for one.

Off 'doon the watter' to visit Rothsey on the beautiful Isle of Bute with my West Coast crew, Clyde Valley HOG. Weather a bit dodgy but hopefully only the odd shower. Always great fun and the Scottish scenery never fails to put on a show.

Took the bike down to my bike guru guy Alan @ Customized Choppers, this for its pre season work over. -3°C when I left the garage and still sub zero all the 20 miles down to the shop. Lots of squeaky bum moments. Full thermals and heated grip on, still bloody 🥶

Watching Joe Lonsdale on Newsnight it hit me, the new uber rich tech gaints are doing what the Victorian super wealthy did back when Britain built its Empire. Knowing the masses worship wealth, they can become Gods and therefore rule the world.
In Trump they have found a devotee. But can we stop it?

My Ruby is off to the bike doctor Friday, for a major overhaul. Decided that rather than replace her I'd just have lots of work done and keep her. She's been a good and trusted friend and we've covered near 25k together, so she's a keeper. 😘

Last weekend was my start to the festive season with Santa Toy run to my local Sick Kids hospital. Raised over £2k and had lots of fun on the run.
