And I’m like, oh cool, we can finally pick our chat up again, but I need to add him back first. His page was private so I waited for him to accept my request so we can be online buddies.

It takes him a couple of hours to accept my request which was totally fine on my end.

I told him I had to get back to work and to have him add me on Instagram for better DM replies (I am a big GIF user so that’s partly why I wanted to move platforms for messaging). I hear nothing from him for almost 24 hours. Then I get the notification that he’s added me.

Small story rant—

I met this guy on TikTok a few days ago. We seem to hit it off pretty well. We talked about video games, the weather and the gym. I lost an hour of my downtime at work, trying to build this connection with him because my goal for 2025 is to just make new friends.
