4. Don’t grade on a curve

Do not hold Republicans to a lower standard and do not hold Democrats to a higher one. When a Republican does something normal, recognize it is normal not exceptional. When a Democrat does something normal, recognize it is normal and not terrible.

My kindergarten teacher called my mom to tell her I was a defiant trouble kid because I refused to talk to her. As a little kid, I froze on stage through my entire dance recital. Fast forward to tonight-I had the honor to nominate Adam Frisch for @DNC Vice-Chair.

Today was a blast 💥— and the weight of these decisions to move our party forward is heavy. I’ve continued to have so many wonderful conversations, and I am excited to work with the DNC leadership team (whoever that will be). 💙🇺🇸🫶🏻

I appreciate my convos w/the DNC candidates about what went wrong & how we reconnect with voters. More conversations to come ahead of casting my vote. Regardless of who is elected, there needs to be accountability. I look forward to working with the leaders of our party to WIN ELECTIONS AGAIN! 💙🇺🇸

Yes- we have to work with the situation we are in. It sucks and it’s not what I wanted, but leaders need to lead and serve our constituents.
