Thing is, I'm naturally pretty resilient. I practice all the good resilience shit. So I guess what I'm asking is ... can poor resilience be temporary, despite best practice, or do I just need to accept that maybe I'm not built for stress after all and I need to just live off-grid forever?

My body, in particular the neuralgia, is really responsive to stress right now. But it's the smallest things. Unexpected Teams message? STRESS. Deadline moved from next week to tomorrow? *STRESS*. Asked to make the slightest update to a document? ***STRESS, WHY, GOD NO NOT AN UPDATE***

I feel like I know the answer to this, so maybe it's just reassurance I'm looking for, but I'd still like some realistic thoughts please 🙏

MRI came back all good, or what we suspected anyway. There is a tangled venous cluster in there stressing out the nerve and causing it all. Which sucks, but at least it's nothing more sinister (a tumour, MS, etc).
