My D&D character from 2020: Wayge Sarloque the Sage Warlock! And all the odd stuff he carried around with him like a pack rat. (Screen cap from Instagram.)

I started reading X-Men in 1986, so I have a ton of fondness for the character's looks around that time. Their style was more punk and dressed down. I also love this photo of six key punk & new wave women from 1980. So, I thought it would be fun to try to combine them.

Happy October 1st! I'm going to shamelessly promote some of my spooky T-shirt designs. Like them? Then, buy them here:

If you asked Hagseth who the "good guy" was in A Few Good Men, he would say "Col. Jessep."

The fact that people are trying to be nostalgic for a slightly less shitty version of Walmart is proof of America failing it citizens.

This is just brutally depressing. If people are going to waxy poetically about some mythologized period in the American past, can they at least go back to Mom & Pop stores, and not just when their shitty big box store was slightly less shitty? This bleak garbage is what passes as nostalgia?

Feels like how they've gone after John Bolton. Pick people that the Left will shrug about and use them as test cases.

It's funny that a poorly performing, talentless President who was mysteriously given a second chance can't understand a Late Night TV Host getting a similar opportunity. Maybe if Kimmel has mismanaged a pandemic and been impeached twice there'd be more understanding.

Search and Destroy - Another whim purchase at the Fantagraphics Book store. I haven't read the Osamu Tezuka story this is based on, but this was a compelling -if dark- read. Will likely pick up the next volume just to see where it goes. #booksky

"Cancel culture" implies a culture canceling someone. This is effectively just one asshole forcing his will on culture.

"Condemning someone's death and honoring someone's life are two different things."
