The second drawing shows Spock, wide-eyed in shock, blushing. He says, “That is not - Jim does not need to be burdened with such things. Explain yourself. Why have you come to me like this?”

The third drawing shows “Kirk,” smiling unnaturally wide. He says, “Oh, don’t be like that, my dear Spock. You brought me here, simple as.”

The fourth drawing shows “Kirk” sliding up to Spock, Spock taking a step back. “Kirk” says, “And seeing as you brought me here, it's up to you to decide what to do with me. How can I please you, my lovely Spock?” Spock says, “Enough. Enough. I’ll have nothing to do with you.”

OC stuff… I’ve only seen TOS so if there’s more details I’m not sure, but I love hypothesizing how the food replicator works

Another set of four drawings continuing the previous comic. The first drawing shows a conversation continuing between Kirk and Spock. Kirk says, “What's going on, Spock? Why do you feel you have to leave so soon?” Spock says, “This type of... "relaxation," Captain. I do not quite have the same imaginative thoughts that humans have. I do not "want" the same way.”

The second drawing shows Kirk, gesturing outward, while Spock follows closely behind him. Kirk says, “Surely there is something you want, Mr. Spock? Perhaps your parents in a more agreeable state? A certain doctor's mouth sewn shut? A chance to get out your anger, your sadness, in privacy?” Spock says, “No, I... you seem to greatly want me to utilize this planet's abilities, Captain. Are you well?”

The third drawing shows Kirk, turning to look at Spock, eye suddenly bright green. He says, “I am well, Mr. Spock. I just feel there is more that I can give you to fulfill your desires. Would you allow me to do this for you?”

EXACTLY. If we give into the idea that we are incapable of change then we will ultimately lose even the opportunity to change. Drives me insane trying to explain that to the people who I thought had more drive and passion for the world and others living in it.

I hate arguing with my family because they just don’t get the fact that if we all decide to change we can change. We do not have to live the way we live. Generative AI can be destroyed if we as a world decide it can be. We can force action. We CAN do anything. We CAN be moral and ethical. We CAN be.

There’s no pride to be found in willingly causing yourself to be uncomfortable in your own skin.

Suppose I’m going through my long overdue vain phase. Not enjoying it, but I think it’s a step to accepting that I WANT to express myself. I’m allowed to be a body as well as a mind!

My hair has always been a mess so I’m finally going to try and tame it. When I was young I took pride in not caring about how I looked- now I realise that I was actually depressed and just struggled to care for myself and tried to rationalise it via a shoddy social statement!
